Clayton Manufacturing in White Pine, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage equipment readiness and maintenance across plant operations and facilities. Responsibilities include corrective actions, contractor coordination, and preventive maintenance programs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, welding/fabrication, and electrical experience. This role demands physical work including lifting and climbing, with strong communication

• Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, reading blueprints and electrical operations.
• Electrical experience with single-phase and three-phase power.
• Must be able to walk, climb, lift loads of at least 50 lb and perform physical duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical and operational problems on facility equipment and implement corrective action.
• Represent the company in dealing with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants for facility maintenance.
• Oversee continuous monitoring of production and process equipment through routine inspections.
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing preventative maintenance programs for production including inspection of plant equipment and inventory for replenishing parts.
• Maintain documentation, machine history, and all other records for production equipment and tool use; request replacements as needed.
• Maintain organization of Maintenance Repair Area and other repair work areas.
• Fabrication, welding, design, and other duties to ensure successful company operation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Job Profile: JP00218 TRU in White Pine, TN is actively searching for a new Team Member to join the Maintenance Department.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for all aspects of equipment readiness and maintenance for all plant operations and building facilities. This includes ensuring repair, upkeep, and maintenance of all facility equipment as well as overseeing all maintenance processes and procedures.

• Conducts analysis of mechanical and operational problems on facility equipment, plan and implement corrective action
• Represents the company in dealing with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants as it relates to the maintenance of the facility
• Oversee the continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation through routine inspections
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing preventative maintenance program of production including inspection of plant equipment and inventory for replenishing parts
• Maintain documentation, machine history, and all other appropriate documentation for production equipment, including the records of tool and equipment use throughout the facility, as well as inspecting or if necessary, requesting replacement for any tools / equipment
• Maintain organization of Maintenance Repair Area and any other area where repair work is in progress
• Fabrication, welding, design, and other duties that ensure successful company operation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• A minimum of 3-years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance related field.
• Working knowledge / hands-on general maintenance experience in welding, hydraulics, pneumatic, fabrication, reading blue prints and electrical operations.
• Electrical experience, both single-phase and three-phase power supplies.
• Must be able to walk, climb, lift loads of at least 50 lb. and perform such other physical duties as may be necessary to inspect all areas of the facility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including exposure to Microsoft Word and Excel.
