Job summary

Zing Recruiting is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Paris, KY facility. You will support preventative and reactive maintenance across steel and aluminum production lines, focusing on reliability and installation of new machinery.

Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and overtime as needed. Candidates should have a two-year technical degree (or equivalent) and at least four years of industrial maintenance experience, with strong safety practices and the ability to read

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and on 2nd/3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, gearboxes, bearings, belts, conveyors, and high-speed machinery.
• Install new equipment and integrate mechanically and electrically.
• Read and interpret schematics; create work orders and maintain maintenance records.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

Industrial Maintenance Technician
Skilled Trades & Industrial Paris , Kentucky Contract Sep 23, 2026

Shift: 2 nd & 3 rd
Location: Paris, KY
Compensation: Up to $37/hr (Based on skills and experience)
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support our Steel and Aluminum manufacturing divisions. These roles focus on preventative and reactive maintenance, equipment reliability, and installation of new machinery across a high?volume production environment. Candidates must be comfortable working 2nd or 3rd shift and supporting overtime, weekend, holiday, and shutdown schedules as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative & reactive maintenance on all production equipment and facility systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, conveyors, and high?speed production machinery
• Install new equipment, including mechanical and electrical integration
• Read, interpret, and work from mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Create work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity

Electrical Technician Focus (if applicable)

• Working knowledge of PLCs; Fanuc controls preferred
• Ability to read, wire, and troubleshoot electrical schematics
• Experience wiring 480V motor circuits and controls
• Background with robots, EOAT, harnesses, contacts, and basic robot maintenance
• Exposure to metal stamping, CNC machining centers, and high?speed assembly equipment is a plus

Basic Qualifications

• Two?year technical degree (or equivalent military/industry training)
• Minimum 4 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of industrial safety practices (LOTO, PPE, machine guarding, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively with cross?functional production and engineering teams
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and support overtime requirements
