High Point Residence Des Plaines is seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-orientedMaintenance Technician to join our team!

This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and taking pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members.

The Maintenance Technician supports the daily upkeep of our senior living community, including general building maintenance, minor repairs, floor care, apartment turnovers, and maintaining the overall appearance of the property.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and enjoys being part of a team that makes a difference every day.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks within your training and qualifications.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry.

Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Previous professional maintenance experience is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills!
