Job summary

Kingspan Insulated Panels North America is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our DeLand, FL facility to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment. The role supports plant operations by reducing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient performance.

The Overnight Shift (5:00 pm – 5:00 am) is available with a pay range of $29.15–$33.95 per hour.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to read gauges and use measuring instruments and tools.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance on plant equipment and related systems.
  • Support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment under established procedures and direction.
  • Identify equipment issues and assist with root cause troubleshooting to reduce repeat failures.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and meet schedules.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain documentation for work orders and equipment history.

Summary: The Maintenance Technician supports plant operations by performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance activities on production and facility equipment. This role helps maintain equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support safe, efficient operations in a plant-based manufacturing environment.

Pay range: $29.15 - $33.95 (Compensation at the top of the range is reserved for individuals who bring subject matter knowledge, hands‑on experience, a proven track record of performing this work at a high level, and the ability to step in and deliver impact immediately with minimal ramp-up.)

We are looking for an experience Industrial Maintenance Technician for our DeLand, FL facility!



  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance on plant equipment and related systems.

  • Support installation, repair, troubleshooting, and assigned maintenance projects under established procedures and direction.

  • Identify equipment issues, assist with root cause troubleshooting, and complete repairs that support equipment reliability and reduce repeat issues.

  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance team members to complete scheduled work, respond to equipment needs, and minimize production downtime.

  • Maintain plant equipment in accordance with company policies, equipment manuals, safety requirements, and accepted maintenance practices.

  • Provide timely feedback to the maintenance supervisor, planner, or appropriate team member regarding assigned work, completed work, and equipment concerns.

  • Work assigned schedules as required to support plant operations, including overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts based on business and operational needs.

  • Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.

  • Follow Compliance requirements per “KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities.”

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Education/Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.


Technical Maintenance Skills:


  • Use hand tools, power tools, maintenance equipment, and precision measuring instruments to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, align, and maintain plant equipment.

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace mechanical equipment and power transmission components, including conveyors, bearings, shafts, chains, belts, and related systems.

  • Support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and related components.

  • Perform or support welding, cutting, brazing, fabrication, rigging, hoisting, lifting, and material handling activities using approved equipment, procedures, certifications, and safe work practices.

  • Apply proper installation, alignment, lubrication, documentation, and maintenance practices to support equipment reliability, quality workmanship, and safe operation.
