Belcan Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Simi Valley, CA. The role involves repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment across the facility, following standard procedures and safety policies. Typical shift is 1st shift, M-F, 7:00am–3:30pm, with start date right away.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma, plus vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field. Benefits include medical, 401k, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, replaces and maintains mechanical systems and related equipment (air compressors, dryers, cooling towers, etc.).
• Follows detailed instructions and prints for jobs and setup operations.
• Administers the preventive maintenance system and provides required reports.
• Determines maintenance requirements for new equipment and trains operators to perform routine maintenance.
• Maintains a safe and organized work area and uses PPE as required.
• Supports Facilities function as needed.
• Regular, punctual attendance; may work nights and weekends or variable schedules.
