Canteen in Roanoke, VA is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to support facility engineering and maintenance duties. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, at 1231 Rockland Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24012.

Qualifications
- Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
- Five years of maintenance technician experience in an institutional setting.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Assist in repairs and report major problems to supervisor.
- Construct, install, maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
- Service HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
- Supervise a small crew on projects.
- Read and transmit complex instructions accurately.
- Teach advanced maintenance skills to staff.
- Review external vendors' work and create punch lists.
- Maintain logs and complete work orders and inspections.
