Job summary

Birchwood Health Care Center in Forest Lake, MN is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community team.

You will perform electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, and floor care tasks, maintain building and grounds, assist with supplies and vendor coordination, and help ensure compliance with regulations.

This is a full-time day-shift role (M-F) with a wage range of $24.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care and use of various equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as trash removal, mopping, and cleaning per policy.
• Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
• Assist in purchasing supplies and equipment for departmental operation; may operate a vehicle.
• Assist in supervising outside contractor services.
• Inspect building, equipment and grounds regularly to ensure compliance with codes and proper operation.
