Job description

Maintenance Technician Day Shift 7am-7pm on 2-2-3 Schedule

Join us to apply for the Maintenance Technician Day Shift 7am-7pm on 2-2-3 Schedule role at Niagara Bottling.

This position is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through troubleshooting and repair of production and facility equipment. The technician will work with various machinery, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers, labelers, conveyors, and water filtration systems, collaborating with operators, supervisors, and senior technicians to resolve issues efficiently.

Essential Functions
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and testing equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and systems.
  • Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment following company procedures.
  • Maintain industrial control systems and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs safely and timely.
  • Create and document repair reports and work orders.
  • Follow plant safety rules, including PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
Qualifications

Minimum: 4 years of experience in maintenance or similar environment, with experience managing projects and teams. Effective communication skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Ability to read schematics and use shop tools is essential.

Preferred: 6+ years of experience, knowledge of high-speed manufacturing, and familiarity with advanced technologies such as VFDs, PLCs, and industrial controls. Own toolbox and basic tools are necessary.

Education

  • Associate’s Degree in relevant manufacturing or technical field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay range: $29.60 - $42.93. Benefits details available at Niagara Benefits.
