Job summary

PLZ Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across our facilities in Missouri.

The role focuses on mechanical systems, pumps, air compressors, boilers, and associated equipment, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, and the ability to respond flexibly to urgent maintenance needs while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document preventive maintenance and repairs using CMMS.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on pumps, air compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and agitators.
• Maintain lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs and support continuous improvement while ensuring a safe work environment.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30a - 3:00p

Position Specific Responsibilities:

Executing and documenting preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Diagnosing and resolving issues with critical equipment such as pumps, air compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and agitators.

Supporting general facility upkeep including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and structural maintenance.

This role demands flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs, support continuous improvement efforts, and perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
