Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dairy manufacturing team in Minnesota.

You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild plant and process equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, and instrumentation, ensuring minimal downtime and safe operation. You will use CMMS for work orders, PMs, inventory lookup, and parts ordering, work with PLCs, electrical circuits, ammonia systems, HVAC, and metal fabrication tasks.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair plant equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and PLC-related issues.
• Repair and maintain ammonia, HVAC, and instrumentation.
• Operate forklifts and perform preventative maintenance.
• Read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses malfunctions and repairs plant equipment.
• Repairs pumps, motors, valves, and gearboxes.
• Maintains ammonia system and safety controls.
• Uses CMMS to process work orders and order parts.
• Performs welding, machining, and fabrication as needed.
