Job summary

Westminster Village North, a BHI Senior Living Community, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep the buildings and grounds in top condition and support residents with reliable service. This is a full-time weekday role focused on delivering quality care and guest experiences.

This position involves preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and security systems, with opportunities to grow professionally within a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years vocational trade maintenance experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community’s buildings and grounds in good condition throughout the year.
• Process work orders, perform corrective and preventive maintenance, document resolutions.
• Work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related systems.
• Inspect boilers, HVAC equipment, and other gear; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Service kitchen equipment including refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers.
• Repair/install doors and hardware; manage locks and security devices.
• Maintain electronic control systems; ensure sensors and transmitters work properly.
• Assist contractors under supervision; support renovation and turnover maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean; manage tools, supplies, and storage areas.
• Participate in inventory and safety practices; follow safe work procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
