Job summary

Saica Pack US in Hamilton, Ohio seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve manufacturing equipment across the corrugated facility, ensuring uptime and safety. You’ll perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems while supporting upgrades and continuous improvement projects.

Experience with corrugated manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Maintain corrugators, converting equipment, conveyors, material handling systems, compressors, and facility support equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as required.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
• Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine reliability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and food safety requirements.
• Participate in emergency maintenance response and planned shutdown activities.
