Job summary

TrueNorth Wellness Services in Franklin, PA seeks a Maintenance Technician Coordinator to manage daily facilities needs across multiple sites. You will perform grounds upkeep, building repairs, and coordinate with vendors while driving agency vehicles as required.

This full-time role requires the ability to handle shifting priorities, occasional nights or weekends, and adherence to safety procedures. Prior maintenance experience is preferred; valid driver's license and clean driving record are

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job.
• Some previous experience in maintenance or similar field is preferred.
• Ability to report to designated location for work assignments.
• Must be approved to drive Agency vehicles with a valid driver's license.
• A clean driving history to use company vehicle.
• Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends as required.
• Be able to observe maintenance needs on the go.
• May be required to take an Agency driver's test.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, mulching, trimming, grounds cleanup, shoveling of gravel/dirt/snow, and maintenance of flower beds.
• Operate snow blower and a pickup truck with mounted snow plow to clear parking area.
• Exterior and interior painting and general repairs to structures.
• Moving furniture and office equipment as needed; basic maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors for bids and county approvals.
• Wear safety apparel and complete agency trainings on time.
• Occasional nights or weekends and emergency call backup duties.

Job Duties:

• A passion for working in an environment where the priorities shift from minute to minute
• Mowing, mulching, trimming, grounds cleanup, shoveling of gravel/dirt/snow, and maintenance of flower beds
• Operate snow blower and a pick-up truck with mounted snow plow to clear parking area
• Exterior and interior painting
• General repairs to exterior and interior structures
• Moving furniture, desks, appliances and all types of office equipment
• Maintenance experience, dry wall, and plumbing a plus.
• Be able to assist with janitorial duties as needed.
• Obtain bids for work to be contracted out
• Coordinate with multiple vendors for bids for county approval
• Must be approved to drive Agency vehicles requiring a valid driver's license
• A clean driving history to use company vehicle to travel to different sites.
• May be required to take an Agency driver's test
• Responsible to wear all provided safety apparel and use all equipment according to the safety instructions.
• Complete agency trainings in a timely manner
• A willingness to work occasional nights or weekends as required.
• Be available to handle emergent needs, serve as the backup for emergency calls and alarm calls (fire and security)
• Maintain their personal time sheets and submit bi-weekly, according to Agency policy
• Must be appropriately attired at all times
• Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager
• Ability to observe maintenance needs on the go
• Ability to properly hook up and tow a utility type trailer

Education and/or Experience/Qualifications:

Equipment Used (may include, but not be limited to):

For exterior work, ability to use: outdoor tools, lawn mower, snow blower, operate truck with snow plow and salt spreader, small hand tools, etc.; For custodial work, ability to use: vacuum, floor scrubber, carpet shampooer, brooms, etc.

Working conditions (may include, but not be limited to):

Indoor/outdoor in summer and winter, loud noises, cool temperatures, quiet, occasional extra physical duties to ensure the safety of employees and clients, daily interactions with people who may be living with communicable diseases, possible exposure to second hand smoke.
