Job summary

Staffmark Group in Johnson City, TN is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment operating smoothly by troubleshooting and performing repairs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus technical training preferred, with a 6am–4pm schedule and hourly pay of $17.00–$20.00.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely response to work orders, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
• Commitment to workplace safety and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine preventive maintenance, repairs and installations of equipment and fixtures.
• Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure proper function.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Communicate ongoing tasks and potential issues to the maintenance supervisor regularly.
