Job summary

Fitch Irick Corporation in Whiteville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance on the community properties, respond to requests, and ensure upkeep of grounds, buildings, and amenities.

The role requires physical ability, a High School diploma, and possibly EPA/CFC certification; you will work with a team, follow safety policies, and help keep the property in full compliance with program requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA/CFC certifications preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain property grounds, buildings and amenities.
• Schedule and complete all preventative maintenance programs.
• Report risks to Site Manager and document incidents.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Respond to emergencies per Fitch Irick policies.
• Maintain safety logs and documentation of maintenance requests.
• Oversee storage, inventory, and upkeep of maintenance supplies.
• Complete unit turnovers per turnover checklist.
