Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician in Lincolnshire, IL. Shifts run 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Pay ranges are Level II $28.00-$30.00/hour and Level III $32.00-$38.00/hour, with an annual salary range of $58,240-$79,040.

This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across facility systems and heavy machining equipment, including CNCs and valves. Experience in machining/manufacturing environments is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years in maintenance, ideally within machining/manufacturing or tool & die environments.
Hands-on experience with CNC lathes, CNC mills, bar feeders, grinders, band saws, manual mills/lathes, air compressors, air dryers, material handling equipment, electrostatic filters, and hoists.
Familiarity with PLC/CNC controls, Fanuc & Mitsubishi logic, and CMMS software (Maintenance Connection preferred).
Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolds, and perform routine physical labor safely.

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance: PMs and repairs on CNC machinery, coolant/oil/filter changes, and electrical inspections.
System Troubleshooting: Diagnose low-voltage electrical controls, logic controllers, and PLCs (Fanuc & Mitsubishi).
Facility & Safety Support: Maintain facility operations (HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, generators) and support fire/safety inspections; handle waste safely.
Standard Work: Complete daily task lists, log event reports, manage priority requests, and assist with inventory levels.
