MW Components is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to support a range of CNC, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, installation, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

You will work in a team environment, learn to read blueprints, use calipers and micrometers, and participate in equipment upgrading projects. The position is on-site in Columbus, OH, with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8+ hours.
• Ability to read/understand blueprints and wiring schematics (training provided).
• OSHA10 preferred, training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot CNC machinery (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
• Piping.
• Machinery installation or modification.
• Design and create fixtures and jigs for production or quality.
• Grind room equipment maintenance and wheel replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and ovens per PM schedule.
• Other tasks as requested.
• Experience with Six Sigma.
