Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: 81820 Shadow Palm Avenue, Riverside County, Indio, CA 92201

Compensation: $19-$22 Per Hour

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and comfort of our properties through daily service requests and preventative maintenance, supporting our community with high-quality work and embodying our values.

Responsibilities
  1. General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs; respond promptly to work orders; diagnose issues; replace fixtures; provide excellent customer service; manage work orders accurately.
  2. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct inspections; perform scheduled maintenance; identify hazards and report concerns.
  3. Unit Turnovers: Prepare units for new residents; ensure standards are met before move-in.
  4. Common Area Maintenance: Maintain shared spaces; perform groundskeeping and seasonal upkeep.
  5. Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA protocols; participate in on-call emergencies; maintain safety standards and PPE usage; respond to hazards.
Qualifications
  1. Education & Experience: High school diploma; 2+ years maintenance experience; certifications in building systems preferred.
  2. Skills & Competencies: Problem-solving; task prioritization; communication; familiarity with management systems.
  3. Certifications: HVAC, EPA refrigerant handling.
Physical & Work Environment
