GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Chillicothe, OH is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance to keep facilities in good repair and cosmetically pleasing. The role includes preventive maintenance and minor repairs to carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, walls, floors and ceilings, as well as replacing defective light fixtures.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in related field, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in related facilities maintenance field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and repair work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance to keep facilities in good repair.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
• Handle minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and wall/floor/ceiling repairs.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts such as ballasts and light fixtures.
• Operate and maintain office equipment and related systems.

Career Details:
We are seeking passionate Techniciansto perform unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance to keep facilities in good repair, cosmetically pleasing, with focus on preventative maintenance. Duties may involve minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, repairing walls, floor and ceilings, changing light fixtures/bulbs. Repair or replace defective equipment parts such as ballasts, entire light fixtures.

Requirements

Education:High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Experience: One to two years in related field. Some Computer Usage.

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Skills and Abilities:

Computer Skills:Proficient in all Microsoft office applications and skilled in operation of personal computer, peripheral equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printers).
