Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to mid-size buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections while following established procedures under supervision.

The role requires physical work, good communication, and basic MS Office skills. Based in Upper Macungie Township, PA, you will work with the engineering team to ensure safe, compliant operation and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and help track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Use defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver output by following procedures under supervision.
