Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems in Tampa, FL. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems, following established procedures under supervision.

You will review work orders, support energy management, and ensure safety and codes compliance. The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and ability to lift heavy loads, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements (lift 50 lbs+; stooping, climbing).
• Follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Clear communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and repair.
• Assist installation and modification of building equipment.
• Review work orders and track completion with systems.
• Support energy management to keep systems efficient.
• Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
• Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver output under supervision following defined procedures.
