Job summary

The Wynwood House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and groundskeeping in our hospitality-inspired senior living community.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC support, landscaping, snow removal, safety checks, and coordinate with vendors; travel between campuses as needed; strong customer service in a resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance, facilities, landscaping, or building repair experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, personal care, or long-term care environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of community buildings, resident rooms, common areas, offices, and exterior grounds.
• Complete preventative maintenance assignments and inspections.
• Assist with basic plumbing repairs and minor electrical work.
• Support HVAC system monitoring and coordination with licensed vendors.
• Complete painting, drywall repair, carpentry, flooring repair, and furniture assembly tasks.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping and perform snow/ice removal as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when on-site.
