Job summary

Carabetta Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at our Norwich properties. The role includes inspections, equipment and grounds maintenance, apartment repairs, and emergency response.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years in building or grounds maintenance. A valid driver’s license and ability to read blueprints are required, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance or grounds experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Able to read blueprints and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buildings and common areas are safe and well-maintained.
• Assist with inspections and repair tasks.
• Operate power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Perform grounds maintenance and snow/ice removal as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate with supervisor.
