Job summary

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support residential and program facilities across the Cincinnati area. You'll perform building and grounds maintenance to keep locations safe and well-maintained.

The role requires a year of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to troubleshoot issues, prioritize tasks, and work independently. VOAOHIN offers a mission-driven environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• At least one year of maintenance or skilled trade experience.
• Valid driver's license required for this position.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings and grounds.
• Repair plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement repair solutions.
• Maintain exterior areas and basic landscaping.
• Inspect facilities and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger projects.
• Ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Travel between VOAOHIN locations as needed.
