Job summary

JCDecaux North America in Boston is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time temporary role with potential transition to a permanent position. Location: Boston, MA. Salary: $31.78/hour.

You will perform power washing, graffiti removal, posting ads, snow and ice removal, operate company vehicles, and inspect equipment. Requires valid driver’s license, ability to drive 8 hours/day, and strong safety and reliability.

Job description

Maintenance Technician

Location: Boston
Salary: $31.78/hour

This position is located in Boston, MA reporting directly to the Regional VP of Operations.This is a full time temporary position with the potential to transition to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Responsible for all power washing (weather permitting) and hand cleaning, removal of graffiti, dirt, stickers, and debris for street furniture throughout the city of Boston
• Responsible for posting advertisements in JCDecaux’s terms and conditions
• Snow and ice removal in accordance with the winter snow procedure. This may require the use of snowplows, snow blowers, and/or spreading snow melting chemicals
• Utilize all applicable technology relevant to the job (smartphone/proprietary software)
• Navigate, maintain, and drive company vehicles
• Using ladders to work with heights of 10’
• Handle, install, and position all moving materials
• Maintain cleanliness of shelters using soapy water, squeegees, etc.
• Make adjustments to advertisements inside of Ad Boxes
• Inspection of equipment and/or structures to assure there are no problems or errors
