Maintenance Technician - Bexley Crossing at Providence

Join Weinstein Properties as a Maintenance Technician at Bexley Crossing in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking a skilled, EPA-certified technician to maintain our apartment community.

Location:

Bexley Crossing at Providence - Charlotte, NC (South - Ballantyne area)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of residential maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, interior/exterior maintenance, and carpentry
• CFC/EPA certification – Type II or Universal
• Hands-on HVAC repair experience

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting at $23/hour, depending on experience
• On-call bonus: $150/week plus $150/holiday
• Quarterly bonus potential: $980
• Benefits include vacation & sick time, holiday pay, insurance, rent discount, and 401K with company match

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
• Participation in weekly emergency on-call rotation required

Responsibilities:

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments
• Assist with turn/make-ready process of vacant apartments
• Maintain property grounds daily
• Assist with general property and building maintenance including clubhouse, amenities, and pool

Qualifications:

• Customer service-oriented attitude

• Problem-solving skills with minimal support
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Adherence to safety standards

Job Requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• Proficient with MS Windows, Outlook, and other software
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Lift minimum of 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in various temperatures and physical activities
• Climb ladders and work with maintenance and cleaning products
• Operate hand/power tools
