Qualifications

Position Summary

This role involves performing a variety of maintenance duties, including preventative, emergency, cosmetic, and routine maintenance, along with regular inspections. The work emphasizes safety, physical effort, troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, customer service, and time management.

Bendorf Drive Apartments is a TCAC/HUD Community.

Responsibilities
  1. Respond to work orders, coordinate with residents and management.
  2. Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and performed.
  3. Perform cosmetic and routine maintenance across the community.
  4. Manage unit turnovers and prepare for new occupants, meeting deadlines.
  5. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
  6. Perform quarterly inspections with property management.
  7. Handle plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and masonry repairs and troubleshooting.
  8. Coordinate and oversee vendor work with the Property Manager.
  9. Be available for on-call emergency maintenance during off-hours and weekends.
  10. Must have reliable transportation and be able to work in an on-call capacity.
  11. Possess basic math and computer skills; fluency in English; bilingual is a plus.
  12. Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  13. Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in an apartment or similar setting.
  14. Knowledge of REAC and other regulatory inspections is advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.50 per hour

For employees working 30+ hours/week:
