Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Exeter, NH seeks a skilled maintenance technician to ensure reliable operation of complex manufacturing equipment. You will perform mechanical, electromechanical and electronic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document downtime and repairs in SAP PM.

Responsibilities include data collection and analysis to improve OEE and yields, writing SOPs, and supporting Lean and 6S initiatives. On-call and safety training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing, maintenance, or similar technical role.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical, electromechanical or electronic maintenance duties.
• Maintains and troubleshoots manufacturing equipment and documents downtime.
• Documents maintenance in SAP PM and records downtime.
• Analyzes data to optimize OEE and process yields.
• Creates SOPs and job instructions for maintenance activities.
• Assists LEAN and 6S process disciplines.
• May participate in on-call duty and training.
• Communicates with OEMs and vendors to expedite troubleshooting and spare parts.
• Reads schematics/blueprints and uses test equipment.
