Join the KPG team as a Maintenance Technician at Aurora Luxury Apartments! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance at the properties, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Position Summary
Responsible for property maintenance, customer service, and professional representation of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor maintenance expenses to ensure they stay below budget.
- Perform daily inspections of community grounds.
- Conduct turn procedures including painting, cleaning, and maintenance of vacant units.
- Complete maintenance requests promptly.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain landscaping, bushes, trees, and lawns.
- Perform snow removal of sidewalks.
- Keep records of weather and snow removal efforts.
- Document maintenance activities in all units and at the site.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and replacement parts in working condition.
- Use personal tools for maintenance tasks.
- Clean and maintain common areas.
- Supervise contractors on-site.
- Provide emergency support to residents after hours.
- Keep records of resident and apartment preventative maintenance.
- Maintain service for all common amenities.
- Conduct quarterly inspections of units.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and interpret instructions and information.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Reasoning ability to follow detailed instructions and solve simple problems.
- Beginner MS Outlook and MS Word skills.
Training Requirements
- Attend annual fair housing classes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds, sit, climb, or balance.
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, and hear.
- Require close and distance vision, with the ability to focus.
Work Environment
- Usually work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
- Rarely work in wet/humid conditions, near moving machinery, heights, fumes, chemicals, or electrical hazards.
- Occasionally work outdoors in various weather conditions.
