Job Title:

Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday from 8:00am - 5:30pm. This position is part of the region-based rotating on-call schedule for after-hour emergencies.

Locations:

• Village at Main Street Apartments (464 Units), 30050 SW Town Center Loop West, Wilsonville, OR 97070
• Witham Hill Oaks Apartments (420 Units), 4275 NW Clubhouse Pl, Corvallis, OR 97330

Reports to:

Maintenance Supervisor

Compensation Package:

• Hourly pay of $23.00
• Monthly phone allowance of $50.00
• Renewal commission opportunities

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Comply with Fair Housing, landlord/tenant laws, OSHA safety regulations
• Attend training seminars
• Maintain communication with supervisors and perform requested tasks

Asset Preservation:

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety, and fire regulations
• Perform inspections and preventative repairs
• Replace recalled appliances promptly

Resident Preparation:

• Complete apartment turnovers within three days
• Coordinate with management on schedules

Maintenance Tasks:

• Assist with inventory and shop organization
• Respond to after-hours emergencies
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, and general maintenance

Resident Experience:

• Complete work orders within 24 hours
• Maintain community cleanliness and curb appeal
• Perform painting and interact professionally with residents

Qualifications:

• Work authorization in the US
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• At least 1 year of multi-family maintenance experience
• Own hand tools
• Knowledge of groundskeeping, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool maintenance
• Teamwork, communication, customer service skills

Work Environment:

• Majority inspecting grounds, some office work
• Physical activity including lifting 20-50 lbs, climbing stairs, kneeling, bending
• Weekend work may be required
