Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Employment Type: Full-time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Schedule: Looking to fill 2 positions; Monday - Friday and Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Includes rotating on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Location: Twin Creeks Apartments (220 units), 11480 SE Sunnyside Rd., Clackamas, OR 97015

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Compensation Package
  • Hourly pay: $22.00 - $24.00 DOE
  • Monthly phone allowance: $50.00

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with housing, safety, and building codes
  • Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance
  • Complete apartment turnovers efficiently
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC, and pool maintenance
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis
  • Maintain inventory and organize maintenance shop
  • Complete work orders promptly and maintain high community standards
Requirements
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • At least 1 year of multi-family maintenance experience
  • Own hand tools
  • Knowledge of maintenance functions including groundskeeping, painting, appliance repair, electrical, plumbing, pool, HVAC, vendor bidding, inventory management
  • Teamwork, good hygiene, integrity, customer service, multi-tasking, conflict resolution, cost analysis, professional growth
Work Environment
  • Mostly grounds and property inspection, some office work
  • Physical activity including lifting 20-50 lbs, climbing stairs/ladders
  • Weekend work may be required
