Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge is seeking a maintenance professional to support studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom condominiums at our Vail, CO property. Duties include guest issue resolution, work-order initiation, and preventative maintenance, with training provided for EMS and Life Safety Systems.

We offer comprehensive benefits after 30 days, PTO, and parking; position is available for full-time or part-time employment with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves guest’s problems and handles all guest requests.
  • Identifies problems, initiates work orders, completes assigned work orders and logs in HotSos.
  • Performs preventative maintenance inspections and keeps organized logs.
  • Completes duty rounds, reports and corrects noted problems.
  • Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems; training provided.

With studio, one, two and three-bedroom condominiums plus luxury penthouses, Manor Vail Lodge is a full-service condominium property that features all the amenities of a full-service hotel, including two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, spa, fitness center, The Fitz Bar and Ridge + River restaurant. Located steps from Vail Village, Golden Peak ski area, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge is the complete package for Vail lodging. Manor Vail Lodge is managed by Mountain Mastery Management Inc.

Overview:

Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds

Available Monday-Friday approx. 10am-6pm.

Open Part time or Full time.

Looking to fill the position by Sept 11th or sooner and earn between $22-$30/hr.

Job duties include but not limited to:
  • Resolves guest’s problems and handles all guest requests.
  • Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplished assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs. Complete work order requests and put them in HotSos.
  • Performs preventative maintenance inspections and maintains logs in an organized manner.
  • Complete the duty rounds checklists, report and correct noted problems.
  • Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems, (training provided). Address safety issues.
  • Have basic pool & spa knowledge and CPO certified. Perform swimming pool chemical tests, make corrections, and have a working knowledge of pool equipment (training provided).
  • Have good written communication skills.
  • Complete arrival inspections.
  • Complete landscape property clean-up including snow shovel/plow/blowing in the winter and assist with watering plants in the summer.
  • Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Able to work with drywall, repairs and painting.
  • Able to complete light carpentry work.
  • Able to handle basic HVAC PM’s & repairs.
  • Have basic fire alarm & fire sprinkler knowledge
  • Work in a cooperative work environment, which focuses on trusting relationships, ethics, dignity, maximum productivity and team member morale.
  • Able to drive a company vehicle. (Have a clean driving record)

Education/Experience:

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
