Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance of facilities, systems, and plant equipment under the Plant Operations Director.

You will conduct proactive maintenance, safety checks, and testing, document results, and support maintenance at the Bethany location as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, empathetic, and able to work with diverse teams in a behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree from a college or technical/trade school preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC, automotive repair, maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and construction preferred.
• Two years of experience in facility maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities, buildings, systems, and plant equipment under the supervision of the Plant Operations Director.
• Performs proactive maintenance, safety checks, and operation testing with documentation.
• Interacts with staff across departments; supports Cedar Ridge Bethany location maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Plant Operations Director, the Maintenance Technician performs skilled work relating to the maintenance of all facility buildings, properties, systems, and plant equipment.

Performs proactive maintenance, safety, and operational testing and documentation of all designated systems and equipment. Interacts with a wide variety of personnel in all departments of the company.

Position assists with maintenance functions at the Cedar Ridge Bethany location as needed.

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (a UHS facility) & Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany (a UHS facility): Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for ages 5-17. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 116-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, outdoor courtyard and playground. Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany is a 56-bed psychiatric hospital offering adult behavioral health programs and treatment services. Our team of dedicated professionals provides crisis stabilization and medication management to patients who have disorders such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, paranoia and schizophrenia. We provide a secure haven for patients who are having suicidal or homicidal thoughts. We can help patients regain their sense of self-worth. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree from a college or technical/trade school preferred
• One (1) to Three (3) Years of experience in the Fundamentals of HVAC, Automotive Repair, Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical & Construction preferred
• Two (2) Years of experience in facility maintenance preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age, required
• Successfully complete a drug test
• Successfully pass national background checkValid Drivers License required
• Must be able to work 8 hours day, standing and walking for prolonged periods
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours
• Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times
• Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior
• Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste
