Job summary

Classic Fun Center in Memphis is seeking an Arcade/Facility Trainee to join our team and help keep attractions and facilities running smoothly. The role covers a range of duties from minor repairs to preventative maintenance.

You will assist staff and customers with issues on arcade games, computer resets, and safety concerns, and when the store is closed you may perform basic construction, electrical work, plumbing, and general maintenance. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Age: 18+
• Availability: Weekday Mornings, Saturdays required with 2–3 days off during the week as needed
• Relevant experience: computer skills, troubleshooting, electrical knowledge, construction safety
• Physical: lift up to 50 lbs, stand up to 10 hours, crouch/kneel/crawl/bend
• Flexibility: ability to work a flexible schedule
• Technical: knowledge of arcade games or electrical boards preferred
• Problem-solving: identify and act on changing requirements
• Organizational: detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
• Communication: strong written and verbal communication

Facility Assistant / Maintenance Technician

Are you passionate about maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and equipment? Do you possess or want to learn a diverse skill set that includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills? We are seeking an Arcade/Facility Trainee to join our team at East End and help us keep our attractions and facilities running flawlessly.

The Arcade/Facility Trainee will help staff and customers with any problems that occur throughout the day. You will help the staff overcome arcade game errors, computer resets, and small safety concerns as they arise. While the store is closed you will be helping co-workers and managers with basic construction, electrical work, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Requirements

What makes a great Facility Assistant/Maintenance Technician?

Age: 18+

Availability: Weekday Mornings, Saturdays Required - with 2 or 3 days off during the week as needed.

Relevant Experience: Computer skills, troubleshooting skills, electrical knowledge, and construction safety.

Physical Abilities: The candidate should be capable of completing physical duties, lifting and carrying 50 lbs., stand for up to 10 hours, and be able to crouch, kneel, crawl, and bend over.

Flexibility: The ability to work a flexible schedule is essential to accommodate the operational needs of the facility.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of arcade games or electrical boards would be a preferred advantage.

Problem-Solving Skills: Being able to identify, comprehend, and act on changing customer and business requirements is crucial for success in this role.

Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and strong organizational ability are vital, as this position requires working under pressure amid distractions and interruptions.

Effective Communication: The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, to address all areas of job responsibilities effectively.

Compensation: Pay ranging from $10-$15+ DOE.
