Job summary

Cambridge Real Estate Services seeks on-site maintenance personnel to perform moderate to complex repairs and preventative tasks, ensuring property upkeep and appearance. The role may involve working across more than one property with travel between sites.

Living on-site is not always required, but active on-site presence is essential to meet daily business needs. The position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Tuesday–Saturday, with potential for structured travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience.
• Property management maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read, understand and follow written instructions.
• Ability to complete reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and the public.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and apartment turnovers.
• Respond to ongoing maintenance requests within 24-hour guidelines.
• Participate in after-hours on-call service on a rotating basis.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas (parking lots, trash enclosures, laundry rooms, centers, carports).
• Engage in company-sponsored training seminars and other duties as required.

This position is full-time, 40hrs per week, Tuesday - Saturday.

Summary

Under the supervision and at the direction of the Property Manager, perform moderate to complex repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain the condition and appearance of the property. Although living on-site may or may not be required, it is required to actively be on-site to meet the day-to-day business needs and may involve more than one property with structured travel between sites. Duties

• Complete maintenance requests and apartment turnovers
• Perform timely and professional responses to ongoing maintenance requests within the 24-hour response guidelines
• Participation in after-hours on-call service on a rotating basis
• Interior and exterior common area upkeep, including litter patrol of parking lots, trash enclosures and laundry rooms, community center and carports, and pressure washing of buildings and interior walkways
• Active participation in company-sponsored training seminars
• Other duties are assigned as required and necessary

Qualifications
