Job summary

Sterling Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Argento at Riverlights Apartments. You will ensure property standards and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and other building trades. The role requires a valid driver's license and 1–2 years of maintenance experience.

EPA certification and pool license are a plus. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; travel up to 20% for site coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or related field.
• Experience in apartment maintenance preferred, HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge helpful.
• EPA Certification and Pool License preferred.
• Strong reading/writing/grammar and math skills.
• Own basic tools to perform maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property meets company standards and performs routine maintenance.
• Diagnose problems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and related areas.

As a Maintenance Technician you will:

• Ensure the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards
• Diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance

Reports to: Property Manager

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License required
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field
  • Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general building trades
  • EPA Certification and Pool License preferred
• Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills
• Possess your own basic tools to perform apartment/building maintenance

Other Requirements (Background Check and Drug Screening):

• Must be able to pass a drug test,driving record,criminal history,andbackground checksprior to employment with Sterling ManagementLtd.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to read andcomprehendmoderately complex documents.
• Ability to verbally and in writing communicate information and ideas so others will understand.Mustbe able to exchangeaccurateinformation in these situations.
