Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice in Sacramento, CA. Under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will receive on-the-job training to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, and boilers. You will also learn about wastewater treatment systems and wash alley equipment while following safety policies.

This training program prepares you to compete for advancement upon completion, with benefits and a path to full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English.
• General mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Able to stand during long shifts (up to 7 hours).
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Receive on-the-job training to repair and maintain industrial equipment and systems.
• Learn preventive/predictive maintenance and troubleshooting for washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Learn operation of industrial wastewater treatment systems and wash alley equipment.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping while following health and safety policies.
• Advance within the program for future opportunities.
