Engineered Systems, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team in the Asheville, NC area. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and path to a skilled maintenance career in engineered systems.

You will assist experienced technicians, learn troubleshooting, and perform preventive maintenance on crane systems while maintaining records and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push/pull 50lbs routinely and work in different environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with industrial maintenance tasks.
• Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on various crane systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
• Attend training sessions to further develop technical skills.
