Job summary

Engineered Systems in the Asheville, NC area is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team. This hands-on role provides on-the-job training and exposure to industrial crane systems, with opportunities to learn preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

You will support experienced technicians, perform inspections, follow safety protocols, and keep maintenance records. We value reliability, curiosity, teamwork, and a willingness to grow within a company that has served

Qualifications

Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift, push/pull 50lbs routinely and work in different conditions.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced technicians with industrial maintenance tasks.
Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on various crane systems.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
Attend training sessions to further develop technical skills.
