Job summary

Spectro Alloys Corp. is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to keep motors, conveyors, and production systems running safely in a high-volume aluminum recycling facility. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support both maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of mechanical experience or related background.
• Basic experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments).
• Strong attendance, reliability, and time management.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment experience.
• Background in recycling, foundry, aggregate, mining, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine safety inspections.
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.

Compensation & Schedule

We value experience, reliability, and the critical role maintenance plays in our operation.

• Starting Wage: $31.00/hour
• Night Shift Premium: Additional $1.30/hour
• Schedule: Rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)
• Shift Times:
  • Days: 4:45 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Nights: 4:45 PM - 5:00 AM
