Conifer Realty seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our Canandaigua, NY communities. You’ll perform routine and preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning, to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Requirements include 2+ years of apartment or facilities maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, reliable transportation, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus).
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills a plus that helps connect with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning.
• Care for grounds and seasonal upkeep, including landscaping and snow/ice removal.
• Respond to work orders promptly and rotate for emergency on-call coverage (respond within 30 minutes).
• Follow safety, property, and inspection standards with precision.
• Work closely with peers and residents, demonstrating empathy and pride in repairs.
