Job summary

Progressive Foam Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to support routine preventative maintenance and downtime activities at our Beach City and Gnadenhutten plants on the 3rd shift, with weekend work as needed.

You will log maintenance activities, coordinate with production crews, and assist with engineering projects while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint and schematic reading, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting,

Qualifications

• Intermediate/advanced reading of blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with plumbing copper, black iron, steel, PVC piping.
• Troubleshooting pneumatic devices and steam boilers.
• Hydraulic system troubleshooting.
• Electrical conduit installation and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive attitude and uphold company core values.
• Follow plant safety rules and procedures.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Log daily maintenance and parts usage; support engineering on projects.
• Lead and mentor Maintenance Technicians B and C; assist in supervision when needed.
