Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Superintendent - Maintenance

Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am, Monday - Friday

Wage: $28.55 - 38.43 per hour

Shift Differential Pay: 8% extra per hour for 2nd & 3rd shift night shifts

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and control system duties
  • Predict and assess equipment operational status to prevent downtime
  • Install and set up extruder barrels and screws with minimal supervision
  • Complete welding, fabrication, repairs, and process improvements
  • Utilize SAP Maintenance Module for work orders and tracking
  • Inspect critical equipment regularly and resolve issues promptly
  • Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule
  • Troubleshoot PLC control systems and make repairs
  • Maintain organization and housekeeping standards
  • Suggest improvements for safety, efficiency, and cost savings
  • Train other staff in maintenance activities
Qualifications:
  • HSED, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Technical degree preferred
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting with a multimeter up to 480 volts
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
Physical Demands:

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and manual handling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual and physical agility required.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, outside weather, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations available.
