Job summary

Actus Nutrition, based in Sparta, Wisconsin, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support 12-hour night shifts (6 PM–6 AM). The role covers preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on buildings and equipment within a food-processing environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.

The Maintenance Technician has the responsibility to oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility, and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.

Pay : Based on experience

Shift : 12-hours rotating shift; Hours: Night shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment to include plumbing, HVAC, boiler systems, compressed air, and ammonia refrigeration.

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years previous maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Have desire to learn, show initiative, and able to pass an internal maintenance exam test as part of the interview process.
