Job summary

Post Road Management is seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Technician for Danish Village/Edgemoor Townhomes in Wichita, KS. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on hands-on upkeep of living spaces and timely maintenance for residents.

You will handle carpentry, electrical/plumbing tasks, unit turnovers, and periodic inspections while supporting a rotating after-hours schedule and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in property maintenance; HVAC experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• General Carpentry: drywall repairs, cabinet and countertop replacements, finish carpentry, glass and window repairs, lock and door servicing, and tile repairs.
• Maintenance & Repairs: electrical, plumbing, appliance troubleshooting, flooring, painting, and HVAC (non-licensed).
• Turnover & Project Support: assist with work orders, unit repaints, re-carpeting, and apartment turnovers.
• Property Inspections: conduct routine property and apartment inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Emergency Response: participate in a rotating schedule for after-hours maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance: carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure longevity and safety of property systems.
• Stakeholder Interaction: maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, contractors, and city officials.
• Work Order Management: track, prioritize, and complete work orders with proper communication.
