Job Details

Shift: 3rd Shift

Benefits: Eligible for full benefits after 30 days, start earning vacation with the first weekly paycheck, $1000 sign-on bonus

Responsibilities
  • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble
  • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts
  • Examine parts for imperfections and measure for dimensional changes
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and control instruments
  • Install and lubricate parts, test device performance
  • Repair electrical equipment and perform preventative maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and governmental guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures
  • Notify parts department or Team Leader of needed parts
  • Work in varying conditions, inside and outside, including extreme temperatures and humidity
  • Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment, identify worn parts
  • Operate with enthusiasm, carry tools in the production environment, and maintain proper documentation
  • Wear required PPE and adhere to safety standards
  • Perform other duties as required and participate in training opportunities
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma required; technical college or 2 years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation principles, programmable logic control, servo systems, frequency drives, AC/DC motors, and preventative maintenance
  • Experience troubleshooting conveyors, power transmission systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls, and drive devices
  • Experience in the food industry, GMPs, and SQF audits is valuable
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Physical ability to push/pull/move 50+ lbs, work in various environmental conditions, and operate machinery
  • Flexible to work overtime and weekends
  • Safety-minded, reliable, precise, self-motivated
