Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) seeks a Maintenance Technician for the Effingham, IL plant. This 3rd shift role (8:00 PM–6:30 AM) focuses on troubleshooting, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance to keep production lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include installing equipment, welding as required, documenting work in the RCI system, and coordinating parts with vendors. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and repairing plant mechanical equipment and electrical systems.
• Performing preventive and emergency maintenance; purchasing parts as needed.
• Maintaining knowledge of production processes and equipment for diagnostics.
• Installing new equipment and aligning it for production use.
• Developing maintenance files, parts and vendors; using department systems for records.
• Performing welding duties as required in repair work.
• Documenting time and parts used on projects in the RCI system.
• Regularly inspecting equipment and performing daily maintenance.
