Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions Segment in Mountain Home, AR is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to safely and efficiently troubleshoot and repair equipment, support upgrades, and install new equipment.

You will work cross-functionally with Engineering and EHS, maintain safety, and move across areas to meet production goals; lifting up to 50 lb, operating lifts, and performing Capex-related tasks. This on-site role offers growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Must be able to learn and apply new maintenance techniques and safety procedures.

The Impact You'll Make

Safely and efficiently perform advanced maintenance related activities to support equipment improvements and uptime. Primary role will be to trouble shoot and repair issues related to equipment failures, upgrades to equipment and programming related to new equipment installs. Actively support and strive to meet the strategic goals set by the facility and Danfoss Corporation.

This is a 3rd Shift position.

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to learn, apply, and retain new techniques, concepts and procedures required for continuously improving products, processes, services, deliveries, and overall quality.
  • Ability to safely and effectively complete work requests and safety needs, ranging from replacing parts and upgrading electrical systems.
  • Work cross functionally with Engineering and EHS functions to complete Capex projects.
  • Always creates/maintains a safe work environment and practices safety for self and others.
  • Maintain flexibility to be able to move from work area to work area to meet the delivery expectations of the customers and the productivity goals for the plant. Able to work efficiently to establish standards without constant supervision.
  • Promotes cooperation and "team oriented" work environment at all times under the direction of the leadership.
What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

Position Criteria:

  • Understand motor controls and drive systems, servo motors, AC & DC systems.
  • Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Annual safety training (LOTO, Fall Protection, Arc Flash backup, HAZMAT, etc.)
  • Must be able to handle heavy lifting and standing, twisting, pulling, and motions for extended periods exceeding 6 hours.
  • Must be able to lift to 50lb.
  • Ability to train and use lift truck, scissor lift, booms with proper fall protection.
  • Attendance is required within Danfoss guidelines.
