Job summary

Our Home, a family of snack brands, seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our Lititz, PA facility on the 3rd shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems, and support production to maintain quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, own tools, and capable troubleshooting skills for high-temperature ovens and production equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• Thorough knowledge of industrial and production type machines.
• Must possess own tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to define issues, interpret data and evaluate options.
• Ability to think creatively outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operations equipment checks to ensure motors and equipment are ready.
• Lubricate equipment and maintain lubrication records.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records.
• Report equipment conditions to Maintenance Manager.
• Assist production by working in the line as directed.
• Monitor daily use of baking ovens.
• Maintain inventories of tools and supplies.
• Troubleshoot repairs on high-temp ovens.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Plant/Maintenance Managers.

Our Home is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team on our 3rd shift in Lititz, PA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems in our manufacturing facility. You will work independently to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our equipment, helping us maintain our high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operations equipment checks to make sure that all motors and equipment are ready for operations.

• Perform equipment lubrication as needed. Maintain records of all equipment lubricated.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records.
• Report equipment conditions to Maintenance Manager.
• Assist to complete production by working in the line as instructed by Maintenance Manager.
• Keep up with daily used of baking ovens
• Maintain inventories of tools and supplies.
• Trouble shoot repair and maintenance needs on high temp ovens
• Maintain shop area clean and organized.
• Perform any other duties as required by Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain complete plant cleanliness.

Requirements

• High school or Trade school study in Machinery, Industrial Machinery Mechanics, HVAC Mechanics, etc., and/or 3-5 years minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the assigned work.
