Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Production and Maintenance teams in Jonesboro, Arkansas. You will perform daily preventive maintenance, respond to equipment emergencies, and help keep the production line running at peak efficiency under established guidelines.

The role emphasizes calibration, issue reporting, and documentation in a digital CMMS system. Candidates should have a GED or HS diploma and relevant mechanical experience or certificates.

Qualifications

This position reports to:

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Qualifications for the role

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• A minimum of four to six years of mechanical experience and/or a state license, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year certificate from college or technical school and/or a state license.
